Atikokan area bite iformation?

Looking for some Atikokan bite info. Will be up there for about 4 nights 3/27-3/31. Really would like to get some lake trout. Any help?

Hi Littleranger,

I am not sure how the atikokan area is doing, but on Lower Manitou we have been doing very well the past few weeks for lakers. We have been catching most of the trout on white and glow tubes in anywhere from 35-80ft. of water. We have also done ok on bucktail jigs and airplane jigs, but the tubes have been the best.

If you are fishing on or near clearwater west, tubes should also produce.
