Alpine Archery

Recommended Posts

I am getting a new bow for this season, and have been looking hard at the offerings by Alpine Archery. Not a real big speed freak or anything, just need something with a grip that fits nicely in my hand. I am not a big fan of the "skinny grips" that seem to be the rage at this time, and the Alpine bows appear to have a larger grip. I have a dealer not to far away, and will get a chnace soon to get there, but just wanted to get opinions here first.

I think they make a decent product, but i would be a little cautious because of all the bolt together pieces for the riser. lots to come loose.skinny grips are alot less easy to torque the bow with your hand(less volume there) that's the reason for the rage.

Thanks for the reply. I understand the reason for the skinny grips, but I have a grip problem, and need to have a larger grip to even feel the bow. That is why I am looking for a large grip.

Stopped by the local archery shop last night and held onto a few, and I think I have found some good possible solutions.

The Mathews probably had the most substantial grip that I held last night.

Thanks Again!!
