carp rods

Does anyone know a good place to pick up a 11 or 12 ft carp rod? Cabellas has some longer rods but I'm still looking around. THANKS!

If you don't mind building up a rod from a blank, Mudhole tackle has plenty of blanks. Look at some of the surf rods. They do have some long but lighter weight rods....you just have to poke around a bit.

I have an 11'6" steelhead drift rod that I put an Okume Epixor spin reel on. I used it near the end of the season with great results.

These rods are also great for Cats, Muskies, or anything that is big, mean and ugly swimming in your favorite pond.
