EyesOnThePrize
So any updates on this area? I am heading to Pike Lake (Amery) this weekend and would like to put the kids on some crappie action. We usually stick to the east side of the lake as that is where my dad lives...Just looking for general depth, ice conditions, suggested jigs/bait.Thanks

DonBo
A buddy just told me he was on Wappo last night. Said he caught a bunch of crappies, but not much size to them. Don't know where he fished...

safarionice
Went to Bear Trap last night looking for crappies. Alot of people still driving on the ice. Saw about 20 vehicles out there. Pretty windy last night, stepped out of my shack, and a gust of wind tipped it over on its side. Minnows everywhere, broke the globe on my lantern, spilled my beverage, and tangled lines; but managed to regroup and catch 15 crappies. Nothing huge, but nice enough for a meal with the family.
