marcum lx 5 and lx 3?

They should work together just fine but I don't have first hand experience.

we try the fl-18 and lx 5 not good the 5 would be clear but the 18 was bad. we trade-in the 18 for lx 3.I hope works better.

I have a lx-5 and fish often with a guy who has a 3. It takes a little adjusting with the Interference rejection but they will work together fine. Adjust one untill it's clear then monkey with the other one seems to work the best. Also at that depth you ought to be able to use the narrow band transducer on the 5 which will improve the situtation greatly.

Ray,

Hit the NBT button on the LX5 and it will clear things up if you're still experiencing some interfereance. This will switch it to the narrow beam transducer.

Kinda suprised you were unable to get rid of interference on your fl18. I fish my fl18 (12 degree) with my freinds lx5 with no problem.
