I was thinking superglue may be the best option, I will post the result.

I have used a spray adhesive combined with gorilla glue. It helps to put a patch on the outside and inside. At least it worked better for me that way.

The two patch idea is a good one. I was thinking about some 100mph (duct) tape, but there should be a better alternative out there.

One can purchase a kit called Tear Mender and this stuff does a wonderfull job.
