I've had one time in the last 5 years where I bottomed out my Strikemaster w/ extension on LOW and this was shortly after New Years! This was an area of busted up ice that refroze and it was crazy thick.

Buy your extension now. They might be tough to find as spring approaches, especially if we get a thick ice year, and as retailers switch over from winter to summer fishing. The year that I ordered mine for my Strikemaster, I was backordered for 3 weeks as they were in a shipping container coming from Finland.

Is it possible to get a phone number to D-Rock? We'll be taking 35E and would like to make the stop short and sweet. I'd also like to call them and make sure they will still have them in March...if not I'm going to have to order one.
