Lowrance X91 issues - won't power on

Had a Lowrance X91 installed for about 4 years...always worked flawlessly... Last summer, the transducer slowly stopped working so I bought a new one. Unit worked great for about 2 months.

One day it just decided not to power on... For not having any issues with any Lowrance units for 10+ years... the transducer and unit appear to have gone out with 2 months.

Coincidentally...both issues occurred after driving over very deep water...like 300+ feet over a mine pit. Drove over the mine pit, next day transducer went out...2 months later, drive over the mine pit...then the unit won't turn back on.

Does anyone think that could have caused an issue. Seems crazy to think that would cause a problem...but thats the facts.

Also...is a hard reset possible even though I can't turn the unit on...its like it doesnt have power. I have replaced the fuse to no avail.

Any help or insight is appreciated...hopefully I get some responses or help before i go spend $200 - $300 for a new unit.

I had the same thing happen on my old X85. I found mice had been chewing the cables...

Any knicks or little cuts in the transducer wires?

Get yourself a meter or test light and make sure you have 12 volts going to the unit.
