Strikemaster auger hop

ice_it_06

Question

Tried drilling holes today and nothing but the hop I've seen others discuss here.

I had a problem with the last hole I drilled a few day back but thought nothing of it. Just finished it off with the Mora hand held.

I don't recall any sand or wood in the hole so I'm not sure what happened. New blades on it were lucky to have (30) holes drilled.

I'm thinking blades but the "pitch" talk I read makes me wonder as well.

Those that have gone to Big Lake (Strikemaster) how long does it take for them to work it over, and can you just show up ?

We're talking about a 100 mile trip for me. It runs kind of poor as well without a slight choke so maybe a doctors visit is needed to finish out the season.

You can just show up. Depending on how busy they are, it only takes a few minutes. You can always give them a call to and they may be able to help troubleshoot some over the phone.

Call strikemaster customer service - they can help diagnose the problem, and may suggest some authorized service center options closer to where you live. I used D-Rock (authorized Srikemaster service)in New Brighten and completely trust any work they do on Strikemasters.
