Fan-cooled or liquid-cooled snowmobile for fishing?

Hookmaster

Question

I'm thinking of getting a used snowmobile for ice fishng. I'd like a 2-up with reverse and electric start. The main question is what would perform better fan-cooled or liquid-cooled? I have very little experience with the pros and cons of either. Again this would be used almost exclusively for ice fishing in temps above 0 degress. I will also post this on the snowmobile board.

I would actually lean toward a fan cooled sled. When I am towing my Fishtrap, I usually take it pretty easy and I have found my liquid runs a bit warm cuz I'm not throwing enough snow up the tunnel to the coolant lines.

My $.02

For strictly ice fishing, I would go fan cooled no doubt. Like the poster above mentioned, if you are pulling a fish house you won't be going fast enough to keep throwing snow on the exchangers. With a pair of ice scratchers, you can drive a fan cooled sled on glare ice and keep the slides lubricated.
