I presume that you've already pulled the old wires through then? If not, tape the new wires to the old wires and pull them through.

If that doesn't work your next bet is to find some heavier wire that won't get stuck that you can force through the area it's getting hung up in. Some fish tape like an electrician uses would work, I've also heard of people using plastic sheathed house wiring to fish the wires though (to be clear here - they don't use the house wire to wire the tailights, only to pull the new wires through).

You need something that's got a little more backbone to it. Any idea, based on the amount of wire that you're feeding through where it's getting hung up?

i was thinking the same thing with using the house nm type wire. i think ill try that. im not sure where its getting hung up, just some where in the middle.
