Anyone thinking of snowmobiling in the state and wondering where to go should head on up to the Kabetogama/ Voyageur National Park area. Trials on the ice and land trails are in great shape, two inches of fresh snow today.

Fishing for crappies on Kab has been so-so but expect it to pick up soon. On Namakan walleyes are slow, and norhtern pike a little more aggressive. Another feature going on is lake trout fishing, its been slow but hey, you can have fun just the same.

Looks like real cold weather for the next few days, so the snow conditions should remain great. Hopefully fishing will pick up.

Anyone got any input on the fishing thats been up here lately? <{{{{{><
