As many have heard, Brunswick has purchased Tim Merten's Power Steer company. I would imagine this time next year you will not be able to get Tim's product on anything but a Mercury. Brunswick didn't purchase Merten's current inventory, just the product line.
I'm curious to know if anyone is using Tim's Latest invention, the Titan. I believe Tim started a new company but I don't know the name. It is a tiller assist without the hydraulic pump. Per a demostration I received, the motor will not move unless you touch the tiller handle. So you can cruise at full speed and not worry about having to deal with the torque feedback. But if you are to make a turn, you don't have the hydraulic assist to help you. They are rating the Titan on any motor that is 115hp or less.
