The Arrowhead trail in the vicinity of Elephant Lake (near Orr) as well as the Arrowhead Links Northbound toward Ash River and VNP are reported to be in pretty good shape by about 100 sledders that have stopped in at Melgeorge’s Elephant Lake Lodge. There is reportedly a little rough going in some of the swampy areas and there is slush under the snow cover on the lakes. Sleds can handle the lakes OK though. As long as the snow keeps coming, the party will be on at the Lodge.
