Operation Muskie

Started working on this project when I was deployed in Iraq and now it is all coming together. Thought I would drop a line here and let the Muskie world in on what is happening. What Operation Muskie really entails is 20 veterans are going to be taken up to Walsh's Bay Store Camp on LOTW, and have 3 days of guided fishing for free. I have been working with Dick Pearson, Doug Johnson, and Frank Walsh to get this all setup. Frank has donated the use of his resort. Couldn't have asked for a nicer thing to do. Through my work, I met with a the FLW, and they have donated a huge chunk of money to help with the costs. This is just going to be a super fun outing for everyone involved, especially the veterans, which this is all for. Don't know if we are going to make this a annual event or not. Have to see how this one goes, but I would like to think we could get enough veterans interested to do this annually. Maybe not on LOTW, but maybe we can find a resort to work with us in MN or WI.
