Lake Isabell in Hasting is pumping out huge crappie, the state record crappie was caught just a mile down the slue, you ony fish 1 1/2 ft deap and they will only bite for a few more days, this is a shallow lake that feeds the river, next cold front. fish will start to die off because lack of oxagin, big winter kill is expected.. dont miss out !!! stop at bait shop at 3rd st. and hwy 61 just south of river bridge. ask directions and say hi.. morning and night bite are best
