Polaris XLT Touring Hitch?

As a newby to the snowmobile world, I was wondering if any of you could help. I bought a used 1997 Polaris XLT Touring(2up), and would like to put a hitch on the back handle/bumper. The universal hitch I bought is not deep enough/bolt holes don't clear the width of the bar. Anyone have any suggestions? I am not looking to tow a ton, just a sled with ice fishing gear, or an occassional small niece or nephew in a sled. Thanks for any help!

Go to any polaris dealer and they should have one or be able to get one for you. They have them at Rush City for $22.99. Get the one that fits your sled, it ties in to your tunnel for more support.

Thanks for the help. Every dealer I had talked to said they did not make a hitch for this type of sled, as it is a 2up and already very heavy. I finally found the Hitching Post in Hopkins to be able to track one down, so I will see how that works.
