Portable Fish Finder

On hsolist there are quite a few portable fish finders for sale, one example is the HawkEye Portable Fish Finder. Has anyone tried them? They are on the cheaper side if finders so I am sure they are not the best but do they do the job?

I haven't used it, but I have a vexlar slt-8 with a 19" transducer in a blue pack, with recharger and battery charge indicator for 200.00
