Guide Series GS-X

Alrighty...I am pumped just got a Guide Series GS-X. I paid a little more then what I wanted but I got it and look forward to it. Anyways, what would be the best thing to do once I recieve it to get it in good running condition and once I recieve what is the best way to test it just in case something is wrong and still falls in line with the refund period. Anything and everything will help

When you get it hook up the battery and turn it on with the transducer in water. If you hear the click of the 'ducer and see three flashing colors when you play with the gain you should be good to go. There really isnt much else to do except possibly give the battery a few hour charge.
