Ice and and the Lowrance X67

I have this unit on the bow of my boat but would like to use it for ice fishing. I found a post from this past Sept. (Ice Sonar) and it looks like a few of you have tried this. My question: How can I convert this unit for ice fishing? Where do I get parts and what do I need? Converting would be cheaper than buying a new unit - wouldn't it?

you need an ice transducer, another power cord and a 12 volt battery. You can get the cord and transducer from LEI-Extras (maybe from Cabelas). Been using mine for two years with no issues.

I bought mine specifically for ice, but I use it on my boat also. Works great for BOTH. different transducer and another powercord and you'll be ready. Love it.

I would suggests for best operation during the winter, and save a few bucks at the same time, is go to cabelas. They have the soft packs, ducers, batteries and the mounts neccessary for the soft packs. I had them set up my X67 ice unit in september. Works Great by the way.
