LOW Ice Fishing

Hey; After going to mile lacs for years, we have decided to go to LOW this year. I need some options for rentals. We are willing to sleep on the lake and sacrafice comfort for price. Obviously, we want a resort that will put us on fish and be willing to move us if the situation requires. I hope this doesn't violate the posting rules, but would like as many suggestions as possible. Thanks for any help!!! Rage

Lake Road Lodge is my favorite. Very nice shacks (day or sleepers) and nice rooms. Also very reasonably priced. The owners, Brian and Penny, are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They have always put me on fish.

I would definately check out the Lake of the Woods forum on this HSOforum for an answer to this question. Flip through the pages until you get to this time last year and you'll have more than enough reading material to last you a while.

We've been doing sleepers for 20+ years and the last 5 at LOW and we've been using Lyon Sleepers on LOW and been very pleased with the service and always caught fish with them. They also have extra day houses near the sleepers to use so you can fish in more than 1 place. They will also move you if the bite is slow. The guys all know the lake and have decent advice. Put the name together and you get the web addx. (I go with 3-4 guys from Owatonna also...)
