jigging spoons

look i know im early but i had a thought go through my mind has anyone tried using jigging spoons inopen water for crappies and panfish? i always use little rapallas (spelling?) jus curious . thanks guys

Sure do. Hard to beat a Kastmaster 1/12th oz. in blue/silver pattern. Of course it works best when they are more aggresive. I tip them with a few grubs too.

I like to use the small swedish pimples tipped w/whole crappie minnow. Or the rapala fire-eye minnow tipped w/minnow head.
Most of the time I do good on the Pimples.

I've gone to a jigging spoon after ice out and in the fall when "all else fails" and they work pretty darn good.
