WallyGator12000
Fished White Bear on Sunday 2-8, hoping the cold front would come through...it stayed 80 degrees the whole time, lake was 69 degrees. Moved one sluggish mid-40's fish, and caught 2 pike in the 30-35" range (32 & 35). Talked to a couple of guys that had more luck at least seeing fish in the morning...Then was out on Bear tonight from 4-7:30...only one follow, don't know how big it was only saw it flash for a second. It should have been the night of nights...some guys at the launch caught a 38" but that was the only fish they saw. Anyone else having this much trouble on Bear this year? I bet the lake turns over by this weekend, and that will send all the fish deep again...
JIGGIN'
You said the lake was 69 degrees on Sun.? No way will it turn over by this weekend. It will take many more cooler nights to get the water to flip at 55 or less. THat is one deep lake and the deeper lakes have a tendency to take a bit of time to flip. It has not been that cold this fall and this little cool snap will not be enough to make her go I would bet.
WallyGator12000
I had 63 degrees yesterday night...so it's dropping, but you could be right and it might not be too fast
