Stolen Lawn equipment. NW Iowa/ SW Minn.

One of my friends who has a small yard maintanance service had his trailer of equipment stolen on Sunday night.

He had it parked at his daughters house and a neighbor heard the commotion in the alley and witnessed the theft.

It was taken around midnight Sunday night, by a tan colored full size van.

The trailer was a drop down tailgate trailer, with a MTD rider,(with cracked seat) and a Craftsman self propelled walk behind mower.

If you see or hear of any of this equipment please post.

Its not that great of equipment, but it was his and someone stole it.

Please help... the next time, it could be your equipment.

The theft occured in Spirit Lake Ia, which is about 20 miles south of the border, between Jackson and Worthington.

It already was my equipment about 10 years ago. Someone broke into our garage and made off with $4,500 worth of lawn equipment, a new 36 inch Exmark, Velke, Echo blowers, all kinds of stuff....my homeowners only covered $1000 of the loss because it was business equipment.

Terrible feeling, being hit by a thief! It doesn't go away very soon! I hope something turns up for your buddy.
