more fall color (pics)

not your average fall images but more colors before they are completely gone... the brilliant yellows of the golden rod(with a couple hover flies "larding up" for winter)....the brilliant orange of this lone amanita(one of the orangest I've ever seen)...all part of fall...

Johnny, you really get up close with your subjects. That Amanita looks like it's 10 feet tall!

Thanks Mike!...those "ground level shots" are quite easy as I have a "tiltable" viewfinder on my camera allowing me to put the camera on the ground as in this mushroom image and actually point it up a bit exposing the underside of the mushroom ...not into laying on the ground(which people must think I do) ...
