How Much Water?

Alright, so how much water is needed to hold ducks? I have permission to hunt on some land, and there is a creek that runs through it, It is maybe five yards wide at most, and runs through a forest and field. Would it be worth it to attempt to hunt ducks on it, maybe with a sneak? Im kinda new to this...

scout it; you'll know if theres ducks there. even if you dont actually see birds, look on sandbars and such for feathers or [PoorWordUsage]. sounds like it might be a good wood duck spot.

Pick up the singles and small groups when they come in, you could be golden!
