grunting in the early season

Is it too early. Any tips or comments welcome. Sorry about the double post as I put it up in the hunting section as well.

I don't think it is too early becaue I heard a bunch of does grunting (yes does, they were not bleating but grunting) and this was back a couple weeks ago. I don't believe that you will get an aggresive response this early where a buck will come into that call, I think most of the time a grunt is more of a regular communication between deer. At the time the does were running at each other ears pinned back almost rearing up onto their hind legs. I wouldn't bet that a buck would respond to it.
