Perch Possession Limit

If I go fishing on Leech for the weekend, how would the DNR know when I catch my 40 perch? How would they know if I was out there for 2 days or more? What is the correct way to go about this?

PS --> I would prefer to clean the fish myself.

The correct way to go about it is to follow the law not because the DNR will know, but because it is in the best interests of the resource and all of those that share the resource. When you keep 20 perch the first day, stop fishing or target another species. When you keep 20 the next day do the same. Now if on days one or two, you didn't catch twenty try a third day until you reach your total possesion limit.
