It never hurts to stock up on varying colors of Cowgirls... You just need to know what specific color works great for that specific lake...

Uplander - just out of curiousity was it the Black/Orange combination? In the past couple years all but one fish on Bald Eagle has chased a black or black/orange combo, regardless of the type of lure, bucktail, jerk, or topwater. Part of the reason could be that I probably throw those colors about 75% of the time. I'm guessing I could increase my catch ratio if I was to sell or get rid of 3/4 of my tackle - I'd spend more time fishing and less time thinking - which in my case can lead to big problems!

It was blue and silver. The only one we had.That water is so green i don't think the color was the factor.....It was the thump!

No kidding on the green water - last weekend you could have just about walked across the lake on the scum!!

Oh yeah... it was the thump that probably did it... You should try trolling... the vibration in your rod is unbelievable... You can feel the vibration all the way to your reel when trolling cowgirls!!!

I was out at BE earlier today and it's still pretty bad. Also, all but 2 muskies I've caught on the lake have been on black/orange. It just might be the color...
