Fazzy
I've been blanked this year - I think the last few years of pressure has made the fishing out there tough. I have yet to even see a follow this year! Now I don't consider myself a great muskie fisherman but I have put my time in and caught a few fish along the way. This year has been tough for me on tonka. My theory is the fish have been pressured into night feeding.
Fish_or_Race
Tonka has been very good to us this year although I have only fished twice. The first time out was a 47" for me (my best so far) and we saw 9 other fish (follows and just swimming by) that day.My buddy who was fishing with me the first day went out 4 days later and got his first if the year, a 45.5".He has since put a 48 and a 44 in the boat on Tonka.I took another buddy out that had never fished Tonka before and he stuck a fat 51. That tied his p.b. set two weeks before on Mille Lacs. On a side note, the Mille fish was 7 lbs heavier. All have been cpr'd so good luck. Most of them came from the east end.
