Crosby Ice

Does anyone know what the ice conditions are like in the Crosby area? My 5 year old is driving me nuts about getting the line wet and putting some Gils in the bucket. Any help would be great.

If you don't get the info you need here post on the Mcgregor/Aitkin board. I was fishing a small lake north of Aitkin Sunday with close to 4" we should have 5" by now on most of the shallow panfish lakes in our area!
