NIGHT FISHING

Tried going out at night for the first time this past weekend targeting pike. We managed one pike and a couple bass. Does anyone have any suggestions on types or lures or depths to try out and information would be appreciated. I know this past weekend wasn't the best conditions for night fishing but still would like to learn more about it.

I dont think pike are really night time eater I could be wrong.But when I fish muskie during the day I seem to catch lots of pike.Then I will fish the same spot at night and no pike if I get a hit I now 95% of the time it is a muskie.One thing that I found was huge at night was to slow down at least as far as muskies go.

Yea I wasn't really sure about that the lake we were fishing doesnt have muskies but has a good population of good pike and big bass. We are normally throwing lures that will attract both maybe ill have to ask the bass guys how to get some biggins out at night, if pike are not generally night time eaters.
