Alumacraft Classic 165 CS

I was looking around for new boats. Saw this deal. What do you guys think? I'm sure most of you have seen this.

Alumacraft is offering a special promotion on this boat right now. The boat, trailer and 50 horse 2 stroke Yamaha(55lb Minn-kota and Lowrance fish-finder) for $11,999. Thats supposedly 3k off list. Is it a good solid boat?

I would use it on smaller MN lakes and probably Devils Lake.

Any thoughts?

I think that is a fair price, by no means a steal. Alumacraft has a good boat, just picked up the 165 dominator this spring with 90hp Honda and I really like it. Seems to me if you can hold out till end of Sept. you should really start to see good deals then.

do not be afraid to negotiate. when I purchased my boat I was able to get the dealer to include many accessories at thier cost, free mooring cover, spare tire mount, etc.
