South Channel 7/31/07 Report

We fished the South Channel. We went 3 for 6 on lakers. Biggest fish was 28" the others were 23". We lost a big fish that we never saw. No hot set up as every rod but one took a fish or hit. 2 riggers, both dipsy's and a full core produced. Baits: Magnum Watermelon Flashback spoon (downrigger), white with glow spin doctor flasher and pearl fly (downrigger), white Opti Inticer flasher with blue holo/glow tape and mirage Dragonfly (dipsy), black Scotty spoon with purple and glow (dipsy), and a monkeypuke Silver Streak spoon (leadcore). The fish were suspended and on the bottom. Speed was 2-2.5 mph.
