Shore fishing Channel Cat's

I grew up shore fishing for channels and haven't found anywhere in the SE Metro that I can do this or at least get into some, like the days on the Red. The Cannon river by redwing is good you'll not match the Red For quality or quanity,The Vermillion.Are you stuck on river fishing? If not theres a post about city lakes stocked with cats.I saw CottageGrove, Have you tried GrayCloud Island lots of areas to try there.If not reply here I can send sone directions but its by Hastings-RedWing.

Sparce-- thanks for the tips, not stuck to river fishing, just haven't fished lakes for channels, yet. I saw that post might have to try some of those out. Grey cloud is that public or private land? The areas I was driving around seemed to all be private

There was public land there that was 1991-1998,You could cross the river to AMVETS post#1 in IGH its also a marinea.
