The spawn is winding down here and I hope to start catching some flathead.

I got 2 Friday night

And a little one Saturday night

I licked em all and I swear they are starting to taste less like shad each week

We did eat well.

Those New York Strips were cookin' pretty well when Darren noticed there was no smoke coming out of the grill. Ran out of propane! Yikes! Luckily, LUCKILY, they were just a tad pink inside. Perfect! Talk about having luck on your side.

Those are a couple dandy mudeyes! Just wish I could figure out a consistant pattern to anything over 30lbs.

How far are you from Wooster Ohio? I have been working here for the last couple of weeks and will be for awhile yet. I see some good river areas around and ready to do some fishin.
