Convert broken Pinpoint motor to manual operation?

Whoaru99

Question

Last year my Pinpoint trolling motor got water in the brain and stopped working.

However, I have every reason to believe the electric motor itself is still functional. I'd like to try converting this to a standard motor and rigging up some kind of transom mount for it.

The problem is there are LOTS of wires going down to the motor. Many of them are for the five sonar transducers, but there are still many more wires besides those.

I can get inexpensive PWM controllers to vary the speed of the motor, but gotta find out what wires are for the motor and how they are connected.

I believe it's a 3700-series Pinpoint.

Anyone know how that motor is wired?

Maybe a schematic floating around??
