David was a member of the 34th ID, 151st FA, C Co. Prior to being deployed to Iraq, David was a police officer in St Louis Park. Prior to that David was a Community Service Officer with the Morris Police Department and a reserve Deputy with the Stevens Co Sheriff's Office.

David was KIA, in February of 2005.

This is a memorial scholarship for law enforcement students entering their last year of schooling.
