Re-Spooling

My primary muskie reel is loaded with 3 year old powerpro. I usually get out once or twice a week so the line has seen a moderate amount of use. I cut a few feet of line off every so often to get rid of the nicks and cuts in the line. How long do you trust a braided line before it time to re-spool with some fresh stuff?

Hey Fazzy- I think after 3 years it may be time for a change but if you have alot of unused line underneath, line that has not been worn, you can reverse the line, walk it off the reel and swap ends, making sure you respool it on tight , that may give you another year or so of use from it.
