Mille Lacs Crappies

I am thinking about hitting Mille Lacs this winter for Crappies, I know they are in some of the Marina's sometimes, but they're private, so I don't think they want you there. Any ideas where else a person can go and do good?

How many holes do ya feel like drilling?

2 areas is in Wig-Wam bay, and a better choice would be in the Isle area.

Keep in mind that these Crappies will better then likely be evening time feeders much like Red Lake.

Early ice depth guesses would be 18-22 feet for a good starter. These fish probably roam on around quite a bit, so if you happen to find some one day don't expect them to be there for long.
