Weekend Fishing trip

Hi:

I am taking my son's, cousin and his daughters up fishing this weekend. Where is the best place to go and lures/bait combination? We will be traveling from the Crosby-Ironton area.

hey thats cool I would have to suggest cutfoot but that would be a ways away and if you do make it use small jigs and grubs fish right out in front of the access i know i will be there and the crappies are just as big as url

Actually we did intend on fishing URL on Friday. Maybe we could try Cutfoot on Saturday, just have to see how it goes. Thanks for the information.

For roolz2002; I was also wondering about Cutfoot. It has been many years since I was to Cutfoot Sioux (I hope you are talking about the one off of winne). Could you tell me what access you are talking about, what highway it is off? Also can you just walk out from the access or his it too far of a hike?

The bowens narrows camp ground is the acces and you could hike it but you can easily drive out there isnt much snow and the fishing is great

Did you guy's try Cut Foot? If so how did you do? I am looking for a new lake to try this week end.

yeah i tried cutfoot caught a few right away but then it just shut down so i might pick up again we also tried little cufoot nothing and little ball club and nothing so good luck with your search
