Any good Cat tourneys this summer?

I've never been to a cat tourney. Are there any good team tourneys on Weekends this summer? I'd like to try one with a few buddies.

-Drayton Tourney in Drayton, ND

These tourney's are all on the Red River, species targeted is Channel Cats.

Thats pretty much it in the state of Minnesota for legitimate catfish tournaments.

There are "contests" (I use that term loosely) on the Minnesota River for flatheads but I will not promote or support any of them because of the way the "contests" are managed and run. 50lb flatheads do not deserve to live in a stocktank and get hung on a meatscale. If you wish to fish these "contests", have fun and please handle the fish carefully. The Minnesota would not be the flathead fishery it is without the great conservation ethic of the fisherman that fish it.

Are these Red River contests pro? I guess I was thinking for something smaller. Like the Franklin Catfish Derby. Anything else like that that you know of on the MN river?

Moore's bait had a metro catfish contest may 5th. There is gonna be another on June 16th I think. It is a CPR format contest. You can enter one Flathead and one channel cat.
