Where to put in a canoe for trout around here?? SE MN ROCHESTER AREA

Hey I am looking at going on a canoe trip fishing for trout, does anyone have any great streams/rivers to jump on where a couple guys could really have some good fishing for trout? Looking for more specific routes vs. just the names of streams. Like where to put in at and float too?? Some ideas would be greatly appreciated. Heavy

You can put in at the Lanesboro Dam and float down to Rushford. That's a good trip for trout. The Main Branch of the Whitewater can be floated as well, although I don't know of specific launches off the top of my head...

The middle branch of the Root has a large portion of designated trout water. There are many places to float a canoe.
