Hi Everyone,

I usually head north near the Longville area the weekend after Bass opener each year. We usually have 2 to 4 guys. Small trip but a lot of fun.

We usually stop and fish Mille Lacs for 3 or 4 hours on the way up, but always like to have a back up plan in case its windy. In looking at lakes that aren't off the beaten path too much, we found a Washburn lake just north of Outing, MN. I like the set up with shallow and deep water, but have NO IDEA if its worth a stop or not. Wondering if anyone has ever been on that lake. Sure would appreciate your comments on whether it's worth the stop or not.
