King of the Cats-Home Waters

Hey Guys,

After looking at the teams and wanting to get out with a few different people this year, wondering where everyone calls their home waters.

I fish primarily pool 4 and jump into the lower half of pool 3 a few times. If anyone wants to share my boat in this area let me know.

Ohh yeah-my Personal best flat (33 lbs) is definitly going to fall this year. I am seeing 50 in the near future grin.gif.

Mississippi from Coon Rapids south to about mid pool 2. I rarely fish the Croix or Minnesota for cats and I'm mostly a shore angler.

Personal best flatty of 36-lbs and personal best channel cat south of Manitoba (been to Cats on the Red once...AWESOME!) of about 15-lbs.

Would love to get a 50-lb'r, but I'll be satisfied with just breaking the 40-lb milestone smirk.gif

Not sure I have any real "home water", I kind of wander.

- Been fishing the Minnesota more and more from the Cities to Mankato. Fish Pool 2 & 3 of the Mighty Miss a little bit.

- I also travel to the Red River quite a bit so I'll be good for a monster channel. smile.gif I think I've got 4 or 5 trips up there this summer.

Home waters to me would be from Minneapolis to Hastings on the Sippi, and Shakoppee to the Sippi on the MN river. This past fall I relocated to Savage from the 651 so I plan on fishing the MN river a little more.
