I wiped the dust off the kayak after two years of sitting and took a nice hour stroll down the turtle river. It was great to get out on the water again! Perfect temp., calm, and not a breeze out. Looks like the northerns, walleye, and suckers were all up river quite a ways. Came across quite a few pair of ducks, some geese, a couple eagles and a lone porcupine just a knawing away at a birch. Needless to say I really felt in my element and will not wait another two years to take out my "yak" again. Get paddling everybody!!!
