there are a couple things you can try.1 is the glow jigs and keep them glowing with your fasher,2 put that glow stick from Northland tackle up 3-5 inches and it will glow for quite awhile or maybe some rattles on or above your jig also rember dark murky water is best fished on bright sunny days and when the sun is out the brightest like 9-10:00 to1-3:00 good luck

I like to use dropper rigs when fishing murky water. Tie on a buckshot rattle spoon and remove the treble hook. Tie on a 4-6 inch piece of 2-4 lb mono onto the eyelit that the treble used to be on. Add a small white or glow teardrop and your set (of course you need bait though). This will give you the best of both worlds--vision and noise. The spoon with attract fish by the rattlers and flash appeal. The glow jig will add that extra bonus in visability. Pack the jig with maggots or a minnow and you've just added the scent and taste. This has helped me ice some crappies when all else failed.
Good Fishing, Matt.
