Hi guys.. yesterday my lawn was invaded by a huge flock of birds I've never seen before. What birds are black with a blue head. At first I thought they were crows but the song was too pretty to me a crow. Do you know what kind of birds they could be or do you have any pictures?

I'd bet they're grackles. Long tails?

quite the size difference between crows and grackles

just had to throw that in the mix

Yeah I know but I first saw them from a distance so I couldn't tell what size they were. lol Steve.. my husband thought they were starlings but starlings have spots.

Starlings also have short stubby tails, very different from the long gaudy jobs that grackles have.
