The Big Jig Ice Fishing Tournament top fish wining a new truck was a 9.67 pound Northern by a local duluth fisherman. Over 1600 men women and childern turned out for the second year event that benifits the UMD Bulldog Club. The first two biggest fish brought to the scales were "SUCKERS". These fish even had CO Ebel shaking his head. Around 1:15 a 5.97 Northern was brought to the scales for the lead. Shortly after 2:00 PM a hugh roar went up from the outer limits of the circle and the winning fish made it's way to the scales. It was a perfect weather day for all who came to the event. Damm the Weather men.
