Bluebirds

Anyone got any nesting activity? Had a pair checking out one of the boxes about a week and a half ago but nothing since.

Too soon up here for the lovely bluebirds. We had a pair nesting in town last year, though.

Last week, when it was warm, I noticed several bluebirds around the nest boxes. At least they were checking them out. One was starting a nest in a box close to my house. I have not seen any bluebirds since the cold hit. I'm hoping they return to finish, and bring friends with them. I recently put up 6 more bluebird houses. Great success over the past 10 years that I have lived here. That's my report! Brent

Got a pair checking out a box again this morning. Hope the snow stays north and doesn't chase them out.
